NEED A BREAK - „Mindshots“ is a series of universally understandable illustrations created to convey my personal thoughts and current questions by graphic means. It addresses aspects of modern and daily life, such as cyberbullying, digitalization, communication, and love, in a stylistically reduced manner. The original imagery shifts in color from black to grey to red, and is sometimes critical, at times ironic, and at times humorous. Remebering Carrols Restaurants. An offshoot of the Tastee-Freez company, Carrols was named after the Tastee-Freez co-owner Leo Marantz's daughter, Carol. McDonald's has the Big Mac and Burger King has the Whopper, but Carrols had the Club Burger. Carrols also sold popular Looney Tunes drinking glasses that can be found in many a local flea market, with plenty more likely tucked away as family keepsakes.

The 7th Cavalry Regiment is a United States Army cavalry regiment formed in 1866. Its official nickname is "Garryowen", after the Irish air "Garryowen" that was adopted as its march tune. The regiment participated in some of the largest battles of the Indian Wars, including the infamous Battle of Little Bighorn, where its enigmatic commander, Lieutenant Colonel George A. Custer made his last stand. The 7th Cavalry became part of the 1st Cavalry Division in the 1920s and went on to fight in the Pacific Theater of World War II, and several key battles of the Korean War, Cold War and Vietnam.
